Attainment Technologies LLC is a privately held
air emissions technology company with over twenty five (25)
years experience optimizing industrial reciprocating engines.
We have a staff of engineers with experience optimizing every
type of reciprocating engine sited in the U.S. (Please see our
link to the types of engines we have in our portfolio) We also
have a staff of PhDs in our research department that are continually
developing new and innovative ways to reduce emissions on all
types of engines. Attainment Technologies specializes in fuel
system optimization and emissions technology after- treatment
for industrial reciprocating engines. Our goal is to assist
our clients in reducing their emissions profile in the most
cost effective manner.
Attainment Technologies has developed a proprietary
(U.S. Patent Pending) emissions system for natural gas fueled
reciprocating engines that has applicability to both lean
burn and rich burn (stoichiometric) engines. We specialize
in applying our emissions system utilizing three way catalyst
technology in applications that involve lean burn engines.
These engines normally would require a Selective Catalytic
Reduction ("SCR") system to meet typical air quality
non-attainment standards. Many clients do not want the added
complexity of the SCR system since it requires a reagent that
is difficult to get permitted in some areas and a hassle to
replenish. Our rich burn engine solutions apply a proprietary
three way catalyst with the added benefit of an increase in
power output and a decrease in fuel consumption.
Attainment Technologies also has tremendous
expertise in basic engine optimization and management. We
can enhance the operation of most industrial reciprocating
engines from either a mechanical or a fuel system perspective.
This work can often lower emissions without the costly addition
of an after treatment product.
